Parent Mental Health Workshop

The Parent Mental Health Workshop is dedicated to parents and caregivers. It is a place to ask questions, gather information, and become familiar with local mental health resources for students and caregivers. During the workshop you will receive tips on how to promote resilience and reduce anxiety, obtain information on children and youth mental health, and access free mental health screenings. 
Light refreshments will be served. Our goal is have you leave informed and empowered. 
About the Speaker: Maria Bush is a licensed professional counselor, mental health service provider in the state of Missouri with over 16 years in the mental health field. Maria has served her community in various social service roles providing services to children and youth that include: Emergency Psychiatric Services, Community Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Suicide Prevention Awareness and Intervention, Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence. She is the former Assistant Director for the Office of Crisis Services and Suicide Prevention for the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. Currently serves as Owner and Therapist of Kindness Connects Us Therapy Services in Tennessee.
